This is a series of drawings completed between 2014 and 2018 when I was living with and caring for my mother who had dementia. She lived on an island. I felt torn between what I thought of as home and her home, the island. I would carry stuff that I had found back and forth and weave these intricate botanical drawings as mash ups of place and environment.
